Responses to my listing for a Selmer Paris Alto Sax for
$2000 in Craigslist.
Notice that the two emails came within two minutes of each
other and how neither emailer remembered to sign off on the email.
If you read my for sale posting, it is clear that I'm not accepting cash only,
or possibly wire transfers.... none of this forged cashiers checks
nonsense. These guys don't bother to read the listings do they?

Hello,
I saw your Ad listed and would love to have your item if it's still
available for sale...however i would like to add that i am okay with
the condition and i have a shipper,so therefore, my shipper would
come over for the pick-up at your location as soon as the check must
have cleared from your bank, but i would like to have your contact
address where payments would be sent out to,and to whom....and i will
be issueing you a Bank Certified Check as my mode of payment.
Get in touch ASAP...including your phone number
Regards

My dear friend,
Thank you so much for your kind offer. Did you actually read
my listing? I specifically said that I won't accept money orders or
cashier's checks. I need cash OR a wire transfer.
Can you send that?
Thanks,
Then he sends the following... which is just his
original email to me - but it is doubled.

nop... i could only issue a cashier check for now
Dear
Mr. Abel,
Well, I'd like to keep this as safe as possible.
Could you tell me the name of the bank issuing the certified check
and your full name and address? I would have to hold on
to the check long enough for the check to clear before I could allow
this item to be shipped or picked up. Could you also be so
kind as to tell me who your shipper is?
Sincerely,
Hugo Flkov

Dear
Godfrey,
Just got your email, and to be honest, I'm a little disappointed
with your response. I'm not sure you read my entire
email because I asked several questions, none of which you answered.
Let us be clear and open in order to effectively and efficiently
consummate our deal.
Here are the questions that I asked of you in my last email to you.
Would you please answer them?
Could you tell me the name of the bank issuing the certified check
and your full name and address? Could you also be
so kind as to tell me who your shipper is?
Thanks.
